Although there are different approaches to the concepts of organization and culture, these concepts have as long and in depth history as possible. It is seen that the understanding of organization and culture is an area that attracts the attention of all scientists. These areas have important roles in transmitting communities 'cultures and putting others' socio-economic duties important. the school belongs to the community it is in and people have expectations for the school to develop its culture. In this context, it would be unreasonable to consider the concept of culture, which has a wide literature, separately from schools that are educational institutions. The aim of this study is to determine the teachers in schools, the dominant culture in their schools, the strengths and weaknesses of this culture and the factors affecting school culture in general. The research is a qualitative study with a phenomenological pattern. The study group of the research consists of 30 teachers working in primary and secondary schools in Cizre district of Şırnak province in the 2020-2021 academic year. Interview questions consisting of 4 open-ended questions were used as data collection tool. Content analysis method was used to analyze the interview questions. As the result of the research, the factors affecting the school culture were determined.
