This study is a literature review of the music works of Ulvi Erguner, son of (Dede) Süleyman Erguner, who served as a bridge in the Erguner School, which is accepted as a school in Ney performance, from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. This study was carried out in order to evaluate the musical aspects by using the method and to reveal his contributions to Turkish music and Ney performance art. Ulvi Erguner is also a quartermaster who served in the Turkish Armed Forces. While performing his military service, he also continued his musical studies. Ulvi Erguner's Ankara and Istanbul radios, at home and abroad, There are solo and collective ney performances and classical choir works at Mevlana commemoration ceremonies, digital sharing platforms and other private archives and platforms. After retiring from the Turkish Armed Forces in 1964, he was appointed as Istanbul Radio Turkish Music Broadcasting Manager in 1967. In 1968, as a result of a serious illness in his mouth, he became unable to blow the ney and participated in radio programs by playing the viola in the last periods of his life. In our study, by examining the ney taksims and other musical works that Ulvi Erguner performed on TRT Istanbul and Ankara radios between 1968 and 1970, the characteristics of “Erguner Style” and the basic elements of his understanding of “Classical Choir” were tried to be determined. has been studied
