Abstract

In recent years, the new form of tourism in the world has been shaped by cultural tourism. Turkey also has a special place in this development in tourism. In Anatolia, where many civilizations lived in the historical process, the cultures and beliefs that have come from its deep and deep past to the present have shown their own characteristics, and this situation has prepared the ground for the emergence of a rich accumulation in terms of culture and belief throughout our country. Antalya, where the research area is located, has a unique potential in terms of cultural tourism, which draws its strength from its natural, historical and cultural attractions, as well as its success in mass tourism. Abdal Musa is one of the saints sent by His Holiness Horasan Eri Ahmet Yesevi to the Tekke Village in the Elmalı district of Antalya province for the Turkification of Anatolia. Abdal Musa lived in Tekke Village and established his dervish lodge here and provided services that left a mark on the life of faith and culture. Thus, 17 km from Elmalı. A cultural movement has started in Tekke Village, which is located at a distance of Abdal Musa Lodge XIV. It is still one of the important centers of the Alevi Bektashi tradition since the 19th century. Abdal Musa Sultan is commemorated with ceremonies held in the third week of June every year. With this study, it is aimed to evaluate the Abdal Musa Sultan Commemoration Ceremonies within the scope of faith tourism and to reveal the touristic potential of these events. For this, field work was carried out and interview forms were applied to the visitors. The study is important in terms of revealing how wide the influence of the cultural and religious assets in the field is, and it fills an important gap in the literature related to faith tourism.
