Abstract

Violence implies a sort of extremism in the very basic conceptual meaning. Extremism itself exposes the most basic impulse related to field of presence. The presence can not earn or achieve a form of being without breaching its own borders through violence .The world developing after 20 th century has been witnessing the order built upon non violence breaking down or rotting away and thus violence virtually wandering about in various fields. This spooky structure pecular to action of violence is incessantly being provoked .Meaninglessness of people trapped by the second World War and the absurdity felt following violent tension of the Cold War were closely similar to each other but nevertheless they led to different consequences in nature, both of which had profound impacts on forms of theater after 1960s and 1990s. The very presence of antihumanistic violence basically lies in the Movements of Absurd and In Yer Face theaters. In this context, the ontological importance of violence is to be interrogated in the world installed by Beckett and Ridley.
