In the research, it is aimed to examine the Life Studies curriculum in the context of social institutions and social/cultural events and phenomena. In the research, document analysis was preferred as the method, since the Life Studies curriculum was examined in the context of social institutions and social/cultural events and phenomena. In this research, this method was preferred since it was aimed to examine social institutions and social/cultural events and phenomena in the Life Studies curriculum and to evaluate as a whole how the trends were in the direction determined in the program. The data source of the research is the documents related to the current Life Studies Curriculum, which was last updated in 2018. In line with the purpose of the research, the curriculum published by the Ministry of National Education was accessed and examined in line with the purposes of the research. Research data were analyzed by content analysis. As a result of the research, it has been determined that in the context of social/cultural events and phenomena, the Life Studies Curriculum emphasizes the use of information and communication technologies in accordance with its purpose, the ability to use resources efficiently, the acquisition of learning learning skills, and the acquisition of basic scientific process skills. In the research, as a result of the analysis of the Life Studies Curriculum in the context of social institutions, it was determined that the basic values of the family and society, gaining social participation skills, and making national, spiritual and human values experience were emphasized.
