Along with the fact that the miniature art, which was left to us as a gift from the Ottoman Empire, became the original Ottoman miniature art over time, they also carry the quality of a historical document in terms of the fact that the desired subject is depicted as it is. In the miniatures in question, weddings, circumcision ceremonies, enthronement scenes, hunting scenes, army campaign scenes, victories of sultans, entertainment scenes etc. They are also very important in terms of reflecting the subjects and daily lives, and transferring the palace life to us. It is observed that the miniature art, which developed under the auspices of the Ottoman sultans and depending on the palace in general terms, developed two different styles as before and after the conquest of Istanbul. Especially after the conquest of Istanbul, Mehmet the Conqueror invited artists from Italy to the Palace, which greatly influenced the Ottoman miniature painters of the period. In particular, the interactions from the western painting art in the Fatih period were not very effective in terms of style in the later times, but they made it possible to watch the western influences carried by European painters in Ottoman miniatures.
