This research aims to perform a bibliometric analysis of published articles on social work education in the Web of Science Core Collection database. Bibliometric research shows the general framework of research in a particular science or subject area. In this study, which was carried out with the descriptive scanning model, the files were limited and downloaded as txt files in accordance with the purpose of the research. The data were analyzed using the bibliometrix package in the R-Studio programming language in the R program, which is an open-source statistical program. As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that the first three countries that produce the most articles on social work education are the USA, the United Kingdom, and Australia, while the countries most open to cooperation are Italy, Sweden, and South Africa. It has been determined that the first three journals in which the studies on social work education are published the most are Journal of Social Work Education, British Journal of Social Work, and International of Social Work. When the authors were examined, it was determined that the first three authors who published the most on social work education were Bogo, M, Hodge, DR and Gair, S, and the most cited authors were Bogo, M, Hodge, DR, and Holden, G. When current trends are examined, it has been concluded that there is an interest in concepts such as professional identity, neuroscience, political-participation, humility, and client religion. This study aims to present a projection to researchers for studies on social work education.
