Abstract

Mental resilience refers to an individual’s capacity to adapt to crises, stress, and uncertainty while maintaining emotional balance and emerging stronger from these experiences. This ability is not only essential for personal well-being but also plays a critical role in societal and organizational success. In today’s world, individuals and institutions face global challenges such as pandemics, economic fluctuations, digital transformation, and rapidly changing work dynamics. These uncertainties demonstrate that resilience is not merely an inherent trait but a skill that can be developed. This study explores innovative and scientifically supported methods to enhance mental resilience. Art therapy strengthens emotional expression and contributes to stress management, while physical endurance activities help improve psychological resilience. Storytelling enables individuals to make sense of challenging experiences, and the trial-and-error method fosters learning and development. Additionally, strategies that support mental resilience in high-stress industries, such as banking, are analyzed. The findings indicate that these approaches enhance individuals’ ability to cope with stress and contribute to the sustainable success of organizations. Mental resilience is becoming an increasingly vital skill that supports both personal growth and social adaptation, making it an essential competency in today’s rapidly evolving world.
