Today, due to the advances in information and technology, the income and leisure of individuals increase together. It is inevitable that those individuals will increase their interest in tourism. The increase in demand in tourism and the ease of accessibility as a result of the developments in transportation is increasing the competition in the tourism sector. The most important factors in increasing the competitiveness of the sector are to provide quality and world-class service. In quality service delivery; the competence of the employed personnel is a very important tool. Unfortunately, our country gets behind Europe in human resources management. Tourism managers are not satisfied with staff development but do not allocate sufficient budget for personnel development. Top management that attaches importance to customer satisfaction should not ignore that manpower is one of the most important factors affecting success in the tourism sector. Paying the salary, meals and accommodation expenses is not enough for employees satisfaction. In order to increase the satisfaction of the employees, they need to value them, give them confidence, develop and motivate their standards of living. In addition, if tourism enterprises want their employees to keep up with the developments in information and technology; allocate the necessary budget for human resource management and training.
