Abstract

Cold chain, scientifically temperature-controlled supply chain, is the complete management of all stages of a supply chain process that must be maintained within a certain temperature range to preserve the integrity of products. The cold supply chain, which has an important place in the food and pharmaceutical industry, increases the reliability of the products by protecting the biological, chemical and physical structure of the products. Since its importance is newly understood many logistics companies put it on their agenda. Companies with products in the cold supply chain face major risks and challenges such as product manipulation, regulatory rules, competition and cost containment. For this reason, choosing a logistics company that provides a correct cold supply chain reduces various risk factors during the transportation of products from the production facility to the end consumer, increases the competitiveness of the companies by taking the burden. In the study, the most ideal logistics company selection to carry out cold supply chain transportation was determined by integrating SWARA method.
