COMPARISON OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE IN BILATERAL AND SINGLE EDUCATION PRIMARY SCHOOLS

In this study, it was aimed to examine and compare the organizational culture in primary schools with single and dual education. For this purpose, scanning model was preferred in the research. With the research, it was tried to reveal whether there were any differences in terms of gender, marital status, teaching style of the school, number of teachers and professional seniority according to the opinions of 200 teachers selected by simple random sampling method from the universe related to organizational culture in primary schools with dual and single education. In the first part of the "Organizational Culture Scale", which is a five-point Likert type, five demographic characteristics of the participants; In the second part, there are 37 items to evaluate teachers' perceptions of organizational culture. Data were analyzed with SPSS software. In the data analysis process, Mann Whitney U and Kruskall Wallis H-Tests were used, as the data did not show normal distribution, together with arithmetic mean calculation from descriptive statistical methods. According to the results of the research, while there was no significant difference between organizational culture, gender and marital status in primary schools with dual and single education, a significant difference was observed according to the school's teaching style, number of teachers and professional seniority variable. In addition, the organizational culture dimensions of the teachers who do both single and dual education are higher than the teachers who do double education in the dimensions of organizational culture; support, success, role and power.
