There have been many inventions and innovations from the first people to the present day. Most of these can be considered as innovations that make life easier and increase people's quality of life. From this point of view, we can put forward the judgment that human beings have been involved in the innovation process throughout their lives. Both technological progress and the rise of the level of civilization can be shown as proof of its existence. In this study, we evaluated the innovation process while providing health services in health institutions, taking into account the features and barriers about the innovation and innovation process, and we tried to obtain general results by evaluating the results obtained from the studies and definitions, and we aimed that the study would contribute to the field of health innovation. Health can be described as the most basic need of human life. In this respect, it is a basic need for people whose health deteriorates to want to receive safe and quality services. While providing health services, many innovations have occurred both in our country and in the world from past to present. For example, people were not acquainted with the surgical innovation called closed surgery until 25 years ago, and they were not aware of an application such as dental implants. All these emerged as a result of the R&D studies and innovation processes, not as a coincidence.
