Accountability refers to the obligation of educational organizations to explain, inform and legitimize the actions taken against an internal or external authority regarding the activities carried out within the institution. The "Accountability of the School Principal" scale developed by Celep and Öztürk (2009) was used in the study. This research, which aims to measure the level of accountability of school administrators according to the opinions of teachers working in high schools, was designed in a quantitative descriptive research model. Look at the accountability views of the administrators according to gender variable, it is found that female teachers evaluate accountability levels of their administrators higher than male teachers. In addition, it was concluded that the average of teachers with 16-20 and 20 or more years of service among the opinions of administrators about the level of accountability according to the variable of service time was lower than the teachers with 0-5 and 6-10 years of service.
