In the research, it is aimed to determine the relationship between the communication competencies and management skills of school principals according to the opinions of the teachers. Relational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. The universe of the research consists of teachers working at various educational levels in the city center of Adıyaman. The sample of the research is 387 teachers determined from the population by the "Easy Sampling" method. Two separate data collection tools were used to collect data in the study. The first is the "Management Skills Scale" to learn the opinions of the teachers on the management skills of the school principals, and the second is the "Communication Competencies Scale" to learn the opinions of the teachers on the communication competencies of the school principals. Parametric tests were used in data analysis. In the study, it was concluded that the school principals' management skills and communication competencies were in good condition according to the opinions of the teachers. In the study, it was concluded that, according to the opinions of the teachers, the communication competencies and management skills of the school principals differed significantly according to the variables of gender, educational status, marital status, type of school and professional seniority. According to these results, it can be said that teachers' views on school principals' management skills and communication competencies are not similar to each other. In addition to what was stated, in the study, it was concluded that there is a positive and highly significant relationship between school principals' management skills and communication competencies, according to teachers' views.
