PERFORMANCE STRATEGIES IN PRIVATE HOSPITALS IN ISTANBUL: A QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS

Bu çalışma, İstanbul’daki özel hastanelerde uygulanan performans stratejilerini ve bu stratejilerin hastane yöneticileri tarafından nasıl deneyimlendiğini nitel bir yaklaşımla incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Hastane performansı klinik, yönetsel ve organizasyonel birçok boyutu içeren çok yönlü bir yapıya sahip olmakla birlikte, bu çalışmada performans stratejileri “hasta sonuçları”, “operasyonel verimlilik”, “teknoloji ve inovasyon” ve “bütünsel bakış” temaları perspektifinden ele alınmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenolojik analiz kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu, İstanbul’da faaliyet gösteren özel hastanelerde görev yapan üst düzey yöneticilerden oluşmaktadır. Veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Katılımcıların deneyimleri doğrultusunda performans stratejilerinin hastane yönetimi, kaynak kullanımı ve kurumsal işleyiş üzerindeki etkileri derinlemesine analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, performans stratejilerinin yalnızca operasyonel süreçleri değil, aynı zamanda yönetsel karar alma mekanizmalarını ve kurumsal sürdürülebilirliği bütüncül bir çerçevede etkilediğini göstermektedir. Çalışma, hastane performansına ilişkin literatüre nitel bir perspektif kazandırmayı ve yöneticilerin deneyimlerine dayalı bir anlayış sunmayı hedeflemektedir.
